I have a 7 month old son and love making him his baby food. Earlier in the week I got some kobacha squash, cut it in half, took out the seeds and placed in some water in the oven for about an hour. Then I scooped out the flesh and pureed it in the blender. He loved it.
We added some fresh pear puree and he was loving life.
Tonight I had an extra squash so we roasted it. This time I preheated the oven to 400 F, Cut it in half and scooped out the seeds , then cut in to wedges trying to get them about the same size
It came out really great if you asked me…Hubbs and the queen 5 year old were not as impressed but I’ll keep trying 🙂
