Today has been a great day! I spent the day meeting new friends, chatting Young Living products and simple ways you can reduce the chemicals and toxins in your household products and Lifestyle.
My good friend Shelly’s runs InsideOut Wellness & Rehab where I was hanging out. If you are in Wake Forest area you should check her out.
Vendor Events for me are all about the engagement and connection with the people attending ( I LOVE IT! I thrive on it ) and how to help them see how easily it is to make better choices in day to day products in their homes. I’m the same way when talking food choices and all wellness things just so you know . If you get me started I can chat your ear off. You can make Good, Better, Best choices. Jumping in where you are and changing things one at a time if you have too. Start somewhere!! Then you will get momentum and take off running. (not literally running, unless you want to of course)
A few of the choices we talked about today were
- Replacing the toxic dryer sheets with Wool Dryer balls~ You can use your favorite Essential oil on them as well if you want. Use 3 balls minimum. I use 6 but I know people that use 9. My kids love helping find the balls as we take the laundry out as well. Dryer sheets are very toxic and they get all over your clothes you wear everyday.
- Peppermint Lip Balm ~ I have a post on making it HERE if you like the full recipe. It’s a fan favorite and it only takes a few minutes to make
- Scent Stones ~ 2 ingrediants! Baking soda and water. Make a paste, put in oven safe silicone mold and bake. Cool and store in a glass Jar . When you need one add your favorite oil to it and put where you’d loved that added smell. A few choices would be Purification for the garbage, I love Endoflex on one to go in my car, Purification again on one to go in the smelly shoe closet and some form of Citrus on one in the bathroom. Learn more on how to make them HERE
- Frank & Lavender Lotion~ Same Ingrediants as the lip Balm except different ratio of the Coconut, Shea butter and Beeswax. You would use Lavender and Frankincense instead of the Peppermint . After you add the Essential oils you put the whole recipe in the fridge to set for about 2 hours then whip with your hand mixer or Kitchen aid mixer. This is my favorite base oil to use to spread lots of different essential oils on with. I will post this full recipe breakdown soon as well.
Seriously so easy to make!
Just as I was wrapping up a great day of chatting with some fabulous new friends I got word that Valor , Young Living’s most popular oil is Back in Stock!! This is HUGE. It’s one of 2 oils I won’t share and it causes great cheers from the oils crowd when it’s in stock! Remember oils are made from Plants, Tree resin’s and fruits so sometimes they go out of stock during a growing season if it’s in as high demand as Valor is.
I’m an introvert by nature so when I do talks or events I always have to have my trusted Valor in my pocket and have been known to reapply often during the event. It’s a must have oil for me so when it’s available I stock up.
Last great news of the day… There’s also a Sale going on as well for select few items till April 26th!!
If you are ready to Become a Young Living Member I can help you with that and support you in your Oil Journey all the way. I have some added welcome gifts if you sign up with my referral link and after signing up I have 2 Facebook support groups I can add you to as well . Since I’m and over achiever I have a step by step Guide on signing up! HA.. It’s really very easy but hey I’m here to help and make it as easy as possible like I said.
I’m off to order my Valor..Then start writing those recipe posts for you! Happy Saturday Ya’ll
